There is a city in Italy that rests on shaky swamp lands, in many ways it is the New Orlines of Europe. However this city was in fact built long before its American counter part. Interesting indeed. The Carnavale in Venice was to start the day after we got there (Saturday), however a dock worker died in an accident on Friday so the mayor decided that carnavale would be postponed 1 day in honor of this man. So I missed most of the calibration's, but that was okay, the city was in gear to be a party and Venice was so much fun on its own. I went out to lunch alone but ended up talking to an old French man who spoke only French. We went to several museums and Churches, all of which where extremely nice. I spent 3 hours in the Guggenheim, and it was incredible. I am disappointed at how stupid the majority of the people on this trip are but I will not need to see them too much so I can live with that.
In other words, the places here are incredible but the people I have to be with at those places are not. As I said though that is fine.
I have resisted eating out because I still remember America where eating out is expensive, but here we have vouchers so I have a large surplus that I need to use fast. I might try and buy my self some good will of people with them though the type of people that can be bought are also the type of people that change at the drop of a hat and the investment is not worth it. Sometimes those people make me wroth though at other times I am contented to ignore them.
In the past week (8 days) I have spent 50 euro, though some of that was unavoidable, I do feel bad for the expenditures.
Ciao tutti, mi dispiace per non parlare ma.
